Excursions

Throughout your stay in Guyana there will be attractive sites that allow you to experience a wide variety of cultural, historical, environmental and political aspects of Guyana.

Andrea and Anthony are willing to arrange meetings with various government officials, including the minister of tourism, minister of health, minister of human relations, and minister of child services. Trips to historical sites, monuments, and government buildings can also be arranged as requested. Examples of sites include parliament, the botanical gardens, Kaiteur falls (second largest waterfall in the world), and the monument celebrating the  slave rebellion of 1763.

Upon arrangement of their trip, visitors have the ability to choose what sites are most appealing to them to make their trip enjoyable. Groups learn about the country and its culture through personal interaction and a variety of experiences and excursions. Andrea and Anthony are extremely flexible and committed to ensuring visits to all requested sites in Guyana.

Interior

Groups can arrange to travel into Guyana's lush and secluded interior to experience both the wonders of the rain forest and indigenous culture. In Moraikobai, the only Arawak village in the 5th region, students can visit indigenous communities and witness a tremendous variety of birds and other wildlife.

Andrea is originally from Moraikobai, so she and Anthony are familiar with the people and place. They arrange trips to the interior, in full.

Groups can also visit Kaiteur Falls, the second largest waterfall in the world.
